    Hi Scott,
John (from Ireland) here. Was at the meeting last evening Dec 2 , at Isaacs and enjoyed the discussion.
You spoke of an upcoming meeting at a school on Wed Dec 18th and looked for volunteers etc
I would like to attend that meeting if possible. Not sure how useful I would be but I would at least like to attend as an observer . Can you give me details ?
    Thanks and Regards ,
    John O’Regan
PS I also saw you letter in the local paper. Congrats .

As much as I would like to invite everybody from LFS to join me, the event is being held in a private school with it’s own security and privacy policies. The audience is to consist of only the junior and senior class of the school itself. Unfortunately, the same privacy concerns means that I cannot film or record the panel discussion either. I will be posting about the event after I attend. You will have to trust my feeble memory for an account of the day. :)

I want to extend my congratulations to you on your very finely crafted letter in today’s Lancaster paper. It brought a breath of fresh air to pages normally immersed in the same old stale debates. I was also very pleased to learn from your letter about the existence of the Lancaster Freethought Society and look forward to your formal incorporation. I have long been an avid reader of both the Skeptical Inquirer and Skeptic Magazine, as well as holding memberships in the British Interplanetary Society, The Mars Society, The Meteoritical Society, as well as Carl Sagan’s own Planetary Society. It is indeed a pleasure to learn that after all these decades a homegrown organization of freethinkers is finally taking root in my native Lancaster County to promote the cause of science and critical thinking.
