I’d like to thank Joan Kern for her fair treatment of us in writing an article about LFS and the upcoming PA State Atheist/Humanist Conference in the Lancaster Newspapers. I’d also like to add that in addition to the people she mentioned in her article, other well known speakers and entertainers like Dan Barker from the Freedom From Religion Foundation, George Hrab, Sam Singleton, Jamilia Bey, Herb Silverman, and many more will also be at the conference. In addition we will also have panels on topics such as science education and the importance secular government. For the full list of speakers as well as a schedule of events, and to buy tickets you can go to the www.atheistpa.org.
I hope to see some more atheists from the Lancaster area to attend, especially students who not only get in for a mind boggling price of only $10 for the entire weekend, but get free lunches during the convention as well!

You can find the full article here.

I’d like to add that anybody who found us due to this article and that are interested in attending our events and meetings should join our group at Meetup.com. Joining both Meetup.com and our group is free of charge and you will be not only be able to see and RSVP for all upcoming events such as the conference and our monthly meetings but can choose to get email notices and reminders of events.
